Students and parents need to understand that performing with City Center Ballet in Clara’s Dream is a commitment that requires time, enthusiasm, and effort. A contract will given to all students awarded a role in the ballet.

There are no fees. Volunteer assistance is welcome.

Children must be 8 as of September 10, 2011

Dancers must be enrolled and attending classes in a studio teaching classical ballet.

Dancers who are accepted into the cast are required to enroll and attend two ballet classes per week minimum at Lebanon Ballet School for consistency of training. If selected, the only cost involved will be the cost of classes.

There are no excused absences for rehearsals (Sept 24 - Dec 3) and dress rehearsal is mandatory.

City Center Ballet's rehearsal schedule for dancers will be primarily on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon. Rehearsals Monday - Thursday evenings will be scheduled for soloists and principal dancers.

Students and parents are responsible for checking and noting their own rehearsal schedules, as well as checking for any updates or changes posted.

Costumes are property of City Center Ballet. Dancers will need to supply their own tights, slippers and personal hair and make-up.

Understand all decisions concerning casting, choreography, and costuming are made by the artistic staff.
